I’m busy, you’re busy – we’re all busy! That is why we need to find alternatives to our workouts and swop that long cardio nonsense with short but more effective routines. In that way, we’ll be “in and out” – ready to rush on to the next thing but feeling proud that we’ve still managed to incorporate some activity into our busy lives.
In this list, I’ll combine the best 7-minute workout apps that show us exactly what to do and how to do it.
Johnson and Johnson Official 7 Minute Workout app is the first one who invented the 7-minute training.
With this 7-minute fitness app, every minute counts so you’ll get fast transitions and very sweaty ending.
All moves are bodyweight only therefore workouts can easily be done from home. And if you have more time on your hands, go with J&J “Smart Workouts”. Smart Workouts will be longer and more custom to you.

2. Seven App
The Seven App strongly believes in the 7-minute workouts. They’ve gathered a large workout library so you won’t get bored too.
All workouts are beginner-friendly and around ~7 minutes long. Besides, this app is rich in its features. For instance, you can compete with your friends who’ll do the most workouts in a week. Or you can take up the 30-day challenge and earn achievement awards for each workout completed.
Because it has so many workouts, you can choose to target specific body areas or just do a full-body workout.

Just like the two before, Workout for Women app has a dedicated area for 7-minute workouts.
As the name suggests, these workouts are designed for women so you’ll train with your bodyweight only.
I felt that this fitness app is good for beginners too, but with a little creativity, you could make it harder by using extra weights. In fact, all of the arm workouts that I completed, water bottles were in my hands.
Similar to J&J 7-Minute workouts, with Workout for Women you can also go with the shorter routines on busy days. And if you’re up for a challenge, select harder workouts when you have time.

The 8fit app has done an amazing job of making fitness adjustable and sustainable!
It’s especially great because it comes with a meal plan included. When you combine exercise with food then results are inevitable.
8fit workouts are not 7 minutes per ce, but they’re no longer than 10 minutes for sure. So effective, and so sweaty – even I (an intermediate+) needed to reach for my towel to wipe off all the sweat drops.
Naturally, I suggest 8fit to those who are up for a harder challenge and looking at weight loss and endurance training.

Jillian has created a very colorful workout app with so many programs to choose from. Of course one of them must be the 7-minute workouts.
Short and intense routines that are grouped into Legs, Upper Body, Core, Cardio and Full-Body.
Thus, the app comes with a meal plan AND community!!! It was so inspiring to read my fellow exercise buddies that I even shared my progress pic (something I never do lol). Therefore, if this is something important to you too then I encourage you to try out Jillian’s app.

That’s it for my list of Best 7 Minute Workout Apps! All these workout apps follow the HIIT-style training where you exercise for 30-seconds and rest for 5 or 10 seconds depending on the app.
Such training is suitable for toning and staying fit overall.
Remember that you can always do 2 workouts in a row. But doesn’t it feels good to be in control of that?! Good Training 🙂
