Reviewing One of the Best Dip Station Bars

Updated: Apr 20

To be honest, I’ve always been a bit skeptical of such equipment only because I was lacking the perspective. For me, it seemed a bit limited in its application, but here I was suggesting this even before trying it out. After my friend, who moved out, wanted to get rid of the dip station bars, naturally, I took them from him. So let’s check out who this one is suitable for and how you can use it!

I started googling exercises and May Oh May how many I found! Soon I changed my viewpoint from “What you can do with these?” to “Is there anything you cannot do?”. My first workout looked a bit "elephanty", but then I got a hang of it and I became stronger and stronger. Besides, these dip station bars are great for calisthenics exercises.

Seriously, you can go completely nuts with these calisthenics dip bars so don’t be fooled by its misleading simple-looking appearance. I found a valuable source where you can learn more about various different exercises that you can do with dip stations so make sure to check it out Here!

I used the dip station bars only with my body-weight, but my partner put some water bottles in a backpack and started to do dips so you can also go creative on this one. From regular pushups to L-sits and bench press & Australian pull-ups and many more exercises, the opportunities are endless.

These particular Titan Fitness dip station bars often have a discounted price so they're fantastic if you're always looking for calisthenics bars for sale. They're also light-weighted so you’ll be able to move them around easily. For those who follow my workout reviews probably have seen how small my apartment is. Still, with all that tiny space, I managed to push them aside where they didn’t bother me at all.

Dip Station Bars: Pros

  • Soft handgrips, not slippery. I could do more dips without hurting my wrists;

  • Well-structured and solid material;

  • Highly functional and can be used by both genders;

  • Easy to assemble, however, I did ask my partner to help me assemble this and it took like 15 minutes for him.

Dip Station Bars: Cons

  • At one moment one of the ends raised off the floor. I did not fall, but I didn’t lose my focus ever since;

  • You cannot really adjust the height though for me it was a great height-size and I’m 5 ft. 5 in. tall;

  • Only one color available.

Overall, it’s great for a full-body workout, especially if you’re into calisthenics. Also, it’s awesome equipment to have at home as it doesn’t take a lot of space. And because both bars are not connected to each other, you can adjust the distance between the two. Sometimes it’s quite uncomfortable when it’s too wide so simply narrow the distance for exercises like dips.

It will be suitable for women and men regardless of what your goal is. I use them best for core stabilization and balance while my boyfriend usually focuses more on arms. You can get them here from Titan Fitness on sale.

Practical Advice:

  • Rest your feet so that they would be higher to make it harder for yourself;

  • Use it on a flat surface to avoid any tilting or tip-over;

  • After a nice workout, you can also use them for stretching.
